Playtunes Music's Search Engine
Ever get tired of search engine's that don't give you what you are looking for, or give you too much in a search result, or nothing at all? Me too! Before I even thought about the website, I knew that the search engine had to be better and more powerful than anyone else's. It's not enough just to have a website these days. It took about a year and a half to design our search engine. It may seem simple just looking at it, but it was a long process to make it do what it does. I wanted something clean, simple and extremely powerful and that's just what we got. It was very important to me that the website was built around the search engine.
Searching by "quality" is a very powerful part of this search engine. It's one of the many ways it is unique.
If you only want to see high quality "3" credit tracks, all you have to do is choose "3" under the credit pull down. You'll never have to sift through hundreds/thousands of cheesy midi tracks with us. "1" and "2" credits are also very useful. Sometimes the quality doesn't matter as much. If that's the case, you pay less.
Another very cool part of our search engine is the buttons gray out if they are not available. This is intended so that you will ALWAYS receive a result in your search. You don't have to wait until after your search to find out what's not available.
You may be asking, why aren't there more moods, genres and instruments? Well, more are coming but for now we didn't want to clutter our search engine with too many possibilities. You may realize in other search engines that they have hundreds of options for each category. Lets take MOODS for instance, the difference between: happy, cheerful, positive, uplifting, excited, elated are minimal. So why put all of them as an option? At some point it gets too much and makes it confusing.
